Package No.RHD-PPF-S11: Package Name: Social Assessment Resettlement and Gender Action Plan: Part of the consultancy services (“the Services”) will include conducting social assessments, gender and disability analysis and developing Resettlement Action Plan as well as Gender and Disability Action Plan. The study area is the 10-km corridor from the Airport to Mohakhali in Dhaka metro area and include feeder roads, the Mohakhali Terminal and a new depot in Keraniganj.
Package No.RHD-PPF-S12: Environmental Impact Assessment and Management Plan: Part of the consulting services (“the Services”) will include conducting an Environmental Assessment and developing an Environmental and Social Management Plan. The study area is the 10-km corridor from the Airport to Mohakhali in Dhaka metro area and include feeder roads, the Mohakhali Terminal and a new depot in Keraniganj.

The shortlisting criteria are: (i) General experience of the firm(s); (ii) Experience in similar projects of compatible size, complexity and technical specialty in the required area; (iii) Financial soundness of the firm; and (iv) Evidence of availability of qualified staff resources and logistics with the firm.
4. Consultants are requested to submit the following documents in support of the above-mentioned criteria: (a) Registration paper of the firm (s); (b) JV agreement/letter of intent (if applicable); (c) Firm’s brochure; (d) Audited financial reports for last three years; (e) service experience record (including nature, total cost, total input in terms of man month, employer, location of service, etc.) and (f) available staff resources and logistics. |

5. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016, revised November 2017 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
6. Consultants may associate with other national and/or international firms or NGOs in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications. Such joint venture or sub-consultant should have real and well-defined inputs to the assignment and it is preferable to limit the total number of firms to a maximum of four.
Terms of Reference (ToR) will be available in the office of the undersigned, by email and also in the RHD’s website (www.rhd.gov.bd). Interested consultant may obtain further information from the office of the undersigned from 09:00 to 17:00 hours (Except holidays). |
