| Brief Description of Assignment |

Prevalence of Parental Tobacco use in Bangladesh & its impact will be conducted with the following objectives:
(1) To find out the socio-economic status of the respondents, (2) To determine the prevalence and pattern of tobacco use and related variables among the sample population, (3) To compare the health problems/morbidity between parents who using/used tobacco and parents who are not tobacco users, (4) To compare risk factors of diseases between parents who using/used tobacco and parents who are not tobacco users, (5) To compare the economic impact between parents who using/used tobacco and parents never used tobacco, (6) To compare the psychosocial and family health impact between the comparison groups, (7) To compare the effect of parental tobacco use among their children between sample categories, (8) To assess the awareness related to harmful use of tobacco and related laws among sample population.

The applicant shall have to submit the EOI with the following documents: (1) Category of the firm: Research/Survey organization/Consulting firm; (2) Brief description of the firm with proof of working in the relevant areas and of conducting Research/survey; (3) Valid Trade license/Registration; (4) Updated Income Tax certificate/Certificate of VAT; (5) 10 (Ten) years experience in the relevant survey/research; (6) List of major clients working with in last 10 (Ten) years with contact reference; (7) Bank solvency certificate; (8) Name of the central key personnel with C.V. who will be involved with the assignment; (9) Relevant documents in favor of organizational strength of the firm. |
