| Brief Description of Assignment |

The Contract Service will comprise of a consumer awareness program and sanitation awareness program, , but not limited to:
1.1 Consumer Awareness Program (Water)
The Consumer Awareness Program will focus on increasing awareness and promoting acceptance of the need for metered connections and tariff restructuring. Activities will include (i) community and consumer Assessments, (ii) development of a standardized information, education, and communications campaign with materials, and (iii) implementation of the awareness campaign within each Pourashava.
1.2 Sanitation Awareness Program (including Drainage)
The Sanitation Awareness Program will provide interventions that will lead to changes in the knowledge, attitude and practices (KAP) on hygiene and sanitation. Activities will include but not limited to (i) KAP assessment, (ii) development of the appropriate awareness campaign and related materials, collaborating with other agencies in the sector and necessary, and (iii) implementation of the campaign at the Pourashava level.
1.3 Solid waste and Faecal Sludge Awareness Program
The Solid waste and faecal sludge Awareness Program will provide interventions that will lead to changes in the knowledge, attitude and practices (KAP) on hygiene and sanitation. Activities will include but not limited to (i) KAP assessment, (ii) development of the appropriate awareness campaign and related materials, collaborating with other agencies in the sector and necessary, and (iii) implementation of the campaign at the Pourashava level.

The participated firms/NGo must have at least office setup with necessary manpower and logistics support at Divisional level to perform the assigned tasks. The selected firm may contract with local NGO/firms (if the selected firm does not have local office set up) at district/ Upazila level to perform the assigned takes.
The EOIs will be evaluated on the basis of the following to prepare a shortlist and Interested Firm (Local Consultant Firms) must provide the following information:
1) Background of the firm with brochure(s),
2) General experiences of the firm in last 5 years(s).
3) Summary of similar projects /services completed in last 5 years including total professional man month and contract value.
4) Average Annual Turn Over (Audited) of the firm(s) during the last 5 years;
5) Availability of appropriate skills/experts among staffs, Logistics supports.
6) Trade License, VAT & updated IT Certificates.
7) Joint Venture Agreement (If applicable).
Interested firm(s) will be required to submit the EOI in closed format mentioning the name and address of the applicant, EOI no. & date and be addressed to the EOI isssuing Authority in 4 (Four) copies; 01(one) marked as “ORIGINAL” and other 3(Three) as “COPY” in separate envelope in the form of book binding, both the “ORIGINAL”and “COPY” shall have to cover within a single envelope to the address below before the EOI closing date & time. The procuring entity reserves the right to accept or reject at any stage any or all EOI’s without assigning any reason.
