INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Rajshahi Medical University is going to establish its own campus in a very planned way on a piece of land measuring of about 68 acres in area. The University has its own Master Plan and to materialise the same, the selected consulting firm will have to conduct:
topographical survey, landscaping with an idea of arboriculture, developing water bodies, land use survey, sub-soil investigation, preparing the details of masterplan, design of boundary wall & gates, detail architectural and structural design drawings of various buildings of different dimensions &heights, plumbing and sanitary design including the water supply and sanitation system, STP (Sewerage Treatment Plant), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), WTP (Water Treatment Plant), HVAC design including the air-conditioning ducting drawing and central ventilation system, fire fighting design including the fire detection system, fire sprinkler and hydrant and other suppression system, medical gas supply system design, preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ), specifications etc. |

The interested Consulting firm should have satisfactorily completed similar assignment during the last 10 (ten) years ending last day of the month in which the EOI has been invited as under:
1. The firm should have minimum 20 (twenty) years’ experience in the field of architectural and engineering services.
2. The firm should have specific experience on Hospital/Medical College/University design services including architectural and engineering consultancy for at least 05 similar projects.
3. The firm should have experience in Hospital/Medical College/ University design services with contract price at least 05 crore for at least one project in last five years.
4. The firm should have experience of designing a minimum 10 storied hospital building.
5. The applicant (lead farm in case of the consortium) shall have minimum annual average turnover of BDT 3 (three) crore for the best 03 (three) years of the last 05 (five) financial years from the date of the submission of EOI offer.
6. The firm should have experience in design for a minimum 500 bedded hospital. |

It should be harmonic and compliance with the stipulated time for the project to be completed.
i) Application with documents/proposal shall be submitted in sealed envelope marked with ``EOI for design consulting firm (national)’’. It contains but not limited to the following;
a) Letter of submission.
b) Registration Certificate of the firm.
c) Valid Trade License.
d) VAT Registration Certificate.
e) Tax Return Certificate.
f) Brochure of the consulting firm summarizing their area of expertise.
g) Experience of the firm in similar Tasks/Assignments.
h) Over all diversified experience of the firm.
i) Bank Solvency Certificate.
j) Last 5 (five) years annual turnover supported with audit report of the company.
k) Availability of appropriate professionals (list of relevant professional staff, their qualification & area of expertise to be furnished )
ii) Application with documents/proposal shall be delivered to the Office of The Director Finance & Accounts, Rajshahi Medical University, Bhaban # 3 (To the East of Central Mosque), Rajshahi Medical College Campus, Rajshahi)
iii) Consulting firm will be selected in accordance with PPA 2006 and PPR 2008 and Public Procurement Procedures issued by GOB with its updated amendments.
iv) No late delivery beyond the closing date will be accepted. |
