The quality management system (QMS) of the manufacturer must comply with any one of the following standards mentioned in SL-a to e:
a. ISO - 9001 Certificate or
b. AAR (Association of American Railroads) U.S. standard for freight and passenger bearings or
c. UIC (International Union of Railways)–European/international specifications. i.e (UIC membership certificate) or
d. JIS-G-4805 or
e. EN 12080 – European standard for railway axle bearings.
Note-1 and Note-2 must be complied:
Note-1: ISO 683-17 – For bearing steel requirements must be submitted.The scope mentioned in the ISO certificate must be related to the production of Bearings for Various Types of Locomotives, Carriages & Wagons of Bangladesh Railway.
Note-2: If applicant is an Authorized Distributor/Trading House, Documents for Distributorship must be submitted.
Applicant shall have to meet the General, Specific, Commercial, Professional, Financial, and Technical criteria mentioned in the Pre-qualification Documents. |
