Roads and Highways department (RHD), Kishoreganj Road Division, Kishoreganj has Constructed 100.36 metre long Bahadurpur Bridge and 111.21 metre long Kernal Khal Bridge at 33th(P) km and at 31th (P) Km of Ujanchar-Bajitpur-Austogram Road under Road Division Kishoregonj. During the last two flood, the Position of the river flowing under Bahadurpur Bridge has shifted about 50 metre towards east side from its original position. Erosion resulting from heavy wave action and scouring resulting from increased flow caused bank erosion near bridge site. As a result about 70-80 metre bridge Approach of Bahadurpur Bridge washed out. Road communication is disrupted between two side ends. The Kernal Khal Bridge Approach is also under Threaten due to heavy wave action. The consulting service is to carry out Hydrology and Morphology Study to determine the actual width of opening of this two bridge and to determine the discharge of water flow of the catchment area near the bridge side passing under this two bridge during the rainy season so that the bridge Approach is permanently stable from erosion resulting due to heavy wave action. The study is to carry out to design slope protection work, if required, of the approach road & river bank at this two bridge vicinity and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) due to construction of the bridge. The main text should focus on findings, conclusions and recommended actions, supported by summaries of the data collected and citations of references if used in interpreting those data.
