INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |

3. As part of the services, the consultant will conduct (but not limited to) the following works:
(1) Supervision of all the Works
1) Review (and re-design, if any) of Detailed Design (D/D) and all the relevant Documents
2) Supervision of all Civil Works.
3) Supervision of establishing CTC & Signaling and Telecommunication Works
4) Prepare/produce of necessary documents related to construction works
5) Assistance for utility relocation
6) Assist PMU to administer all the construction contracts.
7) Others services relevant to the project requirement.
(2) Safeguard Assistance for Construction
1) Environmental and Social Considerations.
2) Prepare and process of LA proposal (if any), Implementation and Monitoring Land Acquisition and Resettlement Action Plan, and Livelihood Restoration Program, updating and implementing the Land Acquisition and Resettlement Action Plan (LA, RAP) and the Livelihood Restoration Program (LRP), Comply with JICA standard safety specifications, etc.
(3) HIV/ AIDS prevention.
(4) Technology transfer.
(5) Organizing overseas training/ study tours. etc.
The Consultant shall carry out the services on behalf of and in collaboration with Project Implementation Unit (PIU) under BR.
4. The consulting services shall be provided by the Consultant in compliance with Guidelines for the Employment of Consultants under Japanese ODA Loans, October 2023.

7. The firm/firms/JV/Association should have following previous experience of rendering consultancy services: Experience of at least one successfully completed construction supervision project of new railway track of at least 50 km in single contract in the last 15 years under FIDIC/ICB contract.
In addition to the above, The consulting firms should preferably have the following experiences
I. Construction Supervision Experience of Japanese ODA Loan, funded Projects in the last 15 years.
II. Construction supervision experience of a minimum of 50 km of new railway track in one contract, or at least 80 km in maximum two contracts.
III. Experience of consultancy services of railway construction projects in other than home country in the last 15 years.
IV. Experience of consultancy services of railway construction projects in South and Southeast Asia in the last 15 years.
V. Experience of consultancy services in developing countries in the last 15 years.
VI. Experience of consultancy services for construction supervision in railway line construction project(s) in the vicinity of train operation in service.
VII. Experience of construction supervision of railway Embankments, Buildings & Structures, Bridge & Culverts, Steel Bridges, of new railway line construction projects.
VIII. Experience of construction supervision of Embankments, Bridge & Culverts etc. of transport sector construction projects.
IX. Experience of construction supervision of Road Over Bridge (RoB) of transport sector construction projects.
X. Experience on construction supervision of centralized traffic controlling (CTC) systems of computer-based interlocking (CBI) system.
XI. Experience in implementation and monitoring of Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMoP) and/or Resettlement Action Plan (RAP), standard safety plan as per JICA/World Bank/ADB Guidelines for Environmental and Social Considerations.
XII. Experience of construction supervision of Weathering Steel bridges in the last 15 years.
