| Brief Description of Assignment |

? Functional validation, development of principles and long-term vision; and preparation of strategy
? Provide consultancy service, supervise, quality control, governance and validate implementation of new instruments, laboratory facilities and workflow to adopt and sustain efficient operational transition from project inception to completion
? Identify and prepare specifications for equipment to setup research facility for NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) analytics
? Capability assessment and mentoring of researchers and staffs in bioinformatics and genomics analysis and assisting design genomics experiments and pipeline development
? Provide consultancy service, advice, assess and facilitate third party bioinformatics training for the local researchers to gain ability to perform advanced tasks in combination of hardware and software tools
? Provide consultancy service to ensure that the lab and the management process comply with all relevant laws, policies and regulations |

Firm selection criteria
? Proof of Legal establishment of the firm i.e. Trade License, VAT certificate, Tax Identification number certificate etc. (if applicable). Joint Venture with a foreign company with relevant experience will be given preference.
? Brief description of the technical experts to be assigned for the project and provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the assigned services and availability of appropriate professionals among staffs etc.
? The consultants should have Ph.D. in relevant fields or BSc degree with 5+ years of experience in Bioinformatics and Computational science. Consultants with research papers in international proceedings/journals will be given preference.
? Consultant with BSc degree and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology in designing Infrastructure, Networks, Security solutions in public and private sectors. |
