INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The Consultant/Specialist will be appointed for efficient procurement management with the Project Director and the concerned officials. The Consultant/Specialist will follow the following tasks of the project:
Development of detailed procurement plan with suggestion for approval process; provide suggestion of tendering procedures as per PPA/PPR/e-GP Guidlines/ DoFP and relevant rules; preparation of tender/bidding documents and suggest for approval; initiate necessary steps for tender processing for all sorts of procurements e.g. goods, services etc.; provides required technical assistance for e-GP tendering system; writing report, minutes, preparing NOA, contract work order etc.; prepare record keeping systems for procurement; assist in organizing meeting related to procurement; prepare summary for Cabinet Purchase Committee/Ministry/Directorate for approval; interact with CPTU for necessary supports; provide technical support for legal issues; submit monthly, quarterly and annual report on the assignments; Overall management of contract as required and suggested by the PD. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
Masters in Engineering/Procurement/Supply Chain Management/Commerce/ Finance/Business/ Management/Law/Environmental science or suitable equivalency. At least 10 years of general experience out of which seven years of experience as Procurement Specialist/Procurement Consultant or have had responsibilities with a substantial content of his/her position in the procurement area (internationally accepted contract documents for works, goods and services). |

• Age should not be above 65 years (at 31.03.2018).
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Good analytical skill and independent report writing ability in English.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• A CD containing soft copy of the complete application (MS word version) is required with the application submitted. |
