| Brief Description of Assignment |

SESIP under DSHE adopts a sector-wide approach that supports a government-led common secondary education program framework. The Ministry of Education (MOE) is the executing agency and the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) is the implementing agency. As per DSHE-MIS statistics, total number of government and non-government schools, college and madrasa in the country under DSHE is 30,712 and the number of teachers and students are 378,816 and 150,00,000 respectively. There are 17 web-enabled software modules functioning in the DSHE-EMIS. These modules were developed and deployed in 2012. A few of them are now in operation and functional. The consulting firm will be hired to build up a new module on Teacher-Trainer-MIS (TTMIS) and integrate the new developed module into existing EMIS system as a common technical platform to support an online teacher trainer tracking system. In the process of development of TTMIS module, the consultant will need to works with SPSU, concerned wings of DSHE, and other co-implementing agencies such as NAEM, NCTB, TTC, HSTTI, BANBEIS, BEDU, etc.(Detail will be available in the TOR). |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

1. The consulting firm should have following resources: (i) Senior System Analyst & Team Leader, (ii) Senior Programmer for design and development, (iii) Teacher Education and Training Specialist, (iv) Database Designer to streamline and fine tune databases, (v) System Developers-Programmers (4 experts, for coding), (vi) User Interface Designer, and (vii) Documentation Expert. 2. Consultant's individual's experts' qualification and experience alsong with their indicative duration of requirement, delivery capacity, etc are detailed up in the TOR (available in the FPW). |
