The consulting services cover the support of the PMU of the PEA in the implementation of the project. The consulting services can be outlined as follows: Familiarisation, actualisation, further preparation, investigation and survey work, and additional concepts for the identified project measures. Detailed design, preparation of tender documents and procurement. Contract management, construction supervision and quality control. Environmental & social safeguard management and support. Capacity building, training, coaching and support of PMU and BCC staff. O&M planning and support

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

Experience in the fields of storm water drainage, flood protection, dredging, urban infrastructure, water supply, sewerage, detailed design and tender documents, procurement and supervision, institutional development, municipal financing, technical and financial contract management.

Knowledge and experience in the implementation of international regulations and guide-lines related to environment protection, social aspects, resettlement and rehabilitation, cli-mate change mitigation and adaptation, community and occupational health and safety as well as international donor rules and guidelines relating to procurement and financial man-agement are compulsory.
