| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The services include but may not be limited to planning, drawing, design, and preparation of specification & bill of quantities including preparation of tender documents and assisting the client in evaluation of tenders and selection of Contractors. The services also include full time supervision of construction and renovation works. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity required are:
1. At least 10 years firm experience in the relevant field of assignment.
2. Experience of completed design and construction supervision of (a) at least one institutional building with auditorium, (b) complete renovation of one similar nature of institutional building (c) at least one 10-storied building with minimum 2 basements, (d) at least 2 Institutional Building projects each with a project value of not less than Tk. 500.00 million.
3. Average annual turnover of at least Tk. 100.00 million of the last 3 years.
4. In-house availability of adequately experienced architects, design engineers, construction supervision engineer and procurement specialist.
5. In-house capability to undertake computer-aided design and drafting.
The Nazrul Institute under Ministry of Cultural Affairs now invites eligible Applicants to indicate the interest in providing the services. Interested Consulting Firms are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. This shall require substantiation through submission of brochures and other documents describing similar assignments, experience, availability of appropriate professional qualification and experience among applicant’s staff to carry out the assignment, financial capability, etc.
An applicant may associate with other consultants to enhance their qualifications, however this is not mandatory.
A shortlist of Consulting Firms will be prepared upon evaluation of EOIs of the eligible applicants and “Request for Proposal” document will be issued in their favour. A Consulting Firm will be selected using the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method in accordance with the Public Procurement Act 2006 and Public Procurement Rules 2008. It is expected that the services will be commenced on 3rd week of November, 2018 and shall be completed on December, 2020.

Expression of Interest shall be submitted by 03 P.M. on or before 10 November 2018, in sealed envelope delivered to Project Director, Construction of a new building for Nazrul Institute at Dhaka & renovation of existing buildings at Dhaka, Mymensingh and Comilla Project and be clearly marked as “Expression of Interest for Selection of a Consultant for Construction of a New Building for Nazrul Institute at Dhaka & Renovation of Existing Buildings at Dhaka, Mymensingh and Comilla.” Those who submitted EOI before as per the no. ??/??????-?(??)/????(???-?)/???; Date: 06.08.2018 they have also to submit EOI freshly again.
