| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
a. Preparation of detailed engineering design of all project components such as construction of roads, side drains, bridges/culverts, public transport passengers, public toilets, vegetable markets, parks & playground and waste baskets.
b. Preparation of Tender Documents/Contract Documents for Civil Work Contract and other relevant documents during pre-construction stage.
c. Preparation of Environmental Action Plan and compliance monitoring of environmental issues.
d. Preparation of Resettlement Action Plan and assistance for implementation of Resettlement Action Plan.
e. Preparation of Land Acquisition Plan
f. Construction-Supervision for Quality Control.
g. Progress Monitoring and Reporting.
h. Checking and certifying of Payment Certificates.
i. Arrangement of training of staff
j. Contract Closing Activities including providing assistance in Dispute/Claims Resolution/Arbitration, if any.
k. Preparation of Completion / Taking over Certificates and Project Completion Report.
l. Preparation of Defect Liability Certificates.

5. The Employer intends to prepare a short list of the joint Bangladeshi-Kuwaiti qualified engineering firms. Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications and association should mention whether the association is in the form of “joint venture” or “sub-consultancy”. It is preferable to limit the total number of firms in an association including the lead firm to 4(four).
6. The service will require both national and international inputs.
7. The Consultants will be selected using the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) procurement method. Interested Applicants may obtain further information by applying to the undersigned during office hours.
