INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
(i) Facilitating in building capacity to local project implementers/implementing agencies for the integration of gender perspectives and GAP implementation in the overall strategic planning through conducting gender training (socio-economic aspects) and providing technical support on the basis of need assessment; (ii) seting annual activities and proposed budget to implement GAP and ensure adequate allocation of human and financial resources for effective mainstreaming of gender in project activities (i.e. communication infrastructures, community infrastructures, community resource management, and livelihood protection) in consultation with project officials; (iii) Ensuring the application of sex disaggregated data across all project activities and regularly keep the record of gender and youth involvement; (iv) Effectively using gender quantitative and qualitative information collected throughout the project; (v) Conducting gender analysis including the identification of bottleneck to be an input of quarterly and annual progress reportsas well as a project gender assessment for the completion report and ensure that the results of the data analysisfeed into programmatic decisions; (vi) Preparing reports on implementation, monitoring and evaluation of GAP (and gender policy of the project) including gender balancing and improvement on quarterly and yearly basis; and many other associted tasks. The applicant should have (Hons.) with Master degree from a recognized University in any disciplines The incumbent should have a total of 10 years training experience of which at least 5 years as Trainer in government, non-government/donor funded projects/institutions/organizations. |
