INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
a) The number of Trainee 20 (Twenty) Persons in two phases.
b) The Training period shall be 10 (Ten) days excluding travelling and transit.
c) The training place shall be in The EU Countries/USA.
d) The training management firm will identify and select suitable training institutions & qualified resource personnel and sites for theoretical & practical training on the following activities:
i) Identification of Dredging Steps;
ii) Demonstration of dredging activities by the simulator;
iii) Description of main components of cutter suction dredgers, Hopper Dredger, Water Injection Dredger & Grab dredger;
iv) Study of important parameters of Cutter Suction Dredger, Hopper Dredger, Water Injection Dredger & Grab dredger for optimum dredging performance;
v) Description of working method of Cutter Suction Dredger, Hopper Dredger, Water Injection Dredger & Grab dredger etc;
vi) Practical training on maintenance, operation, PLC system & electronic technicians (ET) Software/Trouble Shooting software of Cutter Suction Dredger, Hopper Dredger, Water Injection Dredger & Grab dredger.

Interested training management firms are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform Services (brochure of firms, description of similar assignments, experience in similar nature of work, availability of appropriate professional qualification and experience among staff, etc.).
Any intended training management firms may form association/joint venture with one training firm to enhance their qualifications to submit a single proposal in undertaking this assignment. Association/Joint Venture with foreign firm is encouraged. No firm should form association/Joint Venture with more than one group.
Interested training management firms are required to submit the following documents complete in all respects with one original and one copy:
1. Application for Expression of Interest;
2. Registration of Firm with updated Trade license, updated TIN certificate, VAT registration certificate to be submitted;
3. Age of Firm (Minimum 5 years);
4. Brochures & Company Profile;
5. Experience of the firm in similar task within the last 10 years;
6. Details of all ongoing similar task & time period for completion of each work (if any);
7. Availability of resources (Office equipment, software and experienced & professional manpower including foreign professional staff having experience of training on maintenance, operation & PLC of Cutter Suction Dredger, Hopper Dredger, Water Injection Dredger, Grab dredger);
8. The minimum amount of liquid asset or working capital or credit facility shall be Tk. 100.00 lakh and
9. Letter of Intent/association has to be submitted if jointly applied.
Supporting documents have to be attached for all criteria.
