| Brief Description of Assignment |

Procurement Consultant for 06 Months. The consultant shall work closely with the Project Director in all the procurement matters includes providing support to help implementing the project successfully. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
• Minimum 08 years’ experience of supply chain, business and project procurement related cross functional working experiences with PPR 2008
• Bachelor degree in Engineering/ICT or Master degree in any other discipline
• Professional certification in supply chain management will be preferred
• Sound understanding of PPA 2006 and PPR 2008
• Working experience in engineering and/or capacity building project will be preferred
• Demonstrated capacity to work in a team environment
• Analytical Report writing ability
• Excellent working knowledge of English & Proficiency in computer application (MS Work, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Knowledge in practical areas/aspects of procurement (e.g. procurement of goods; various forms of contracts; selection/ contracting of consultant services; preparation of bidding / contract documents for the procurement of goods, works, services; public procurement policies; sustainable procurement; advanced contract management etc.);
• Experience in the preparation of bidding documents/Requests for proposal for procuring of goods, works and services as well as evaluation of the same;
• Knowledge and understanding of the e-Government Procurement (e-GP) |
