| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Software Quality Assurance consultant will be required to help the software developer through the project office to ensure quality of GRP Software. Brief Description of Assignment: The major responsibility is to perform functional test, code review, etc. and ensure user friendliness of software in collaboration with nominated consultant through: Preparing detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases; Guiding vendor in implementation and post-deployment support of ERP; Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities; Designing, developing and executing automation scripts using open source tools; Assisting load and stress testing; Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs; Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved; Recommended program improvement or corrections to program; Develop and apply testing processes for the different parts of system; Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions; Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts; Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent recurrence of program operating problem and ensure efficiency of operations; Work with existing resources to ensure level of effort provided to ensure timely delivery of activities; Assist in implementation of GRP software in different stakeholders as per plan; Such other functions as may be assigned by higher authority. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

Bachelor/Master’s degree in Information system, Management Information System, Computer science, Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent from a renowned university. Experience: The candidate must have minimum 5 years of progressive working experience in a Govt. / Semi-Govt./Autonomous body /Corporate sector/Private sector; Preferred to have experience in Quality Assurance on software using standard tools and techniques; Training on software quality assurance will be preferred; Experience in ERP will be given preference; Experience in implementation of large-scale software in Government environment is preferred; Preferred to have good knowledge about load and stress testing and related tools. In case of otherwise exceptional candidates, the above-mentioned requirement may be relaxed. |

Applicants shall have to submit EOI with their CV and forwarding letter in sealed envelope labeled with Individual Consultant for one of the above mentioned positions under Bangladesh e-Government ERP Project to the office of the undersigned.
