| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
• To conduct Physical surveys of the alignment to fix the proposed land acquisition;
• To conduct survey and to undertake detail engineering designs, including specifications, drawings and detailed cost estimates;
• Comprehensive supervision of project implementation activities carried out by the contractor to ensure total compliance with the drawings, technical specifications and various stipulations in the contract documents,
• Certify the contractor’s eligible payments; and to provide support in contract closing activities including dispute/claims resolution/ arbitration, if any.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The consulting firm shall have a general experience of at least 15 (fifteen) years of which at least five years’ experience in the design and supervision of road and bridges as design and supervision consultants. The EOI shall be evaluated on the basis of the following documents: 1. General Experience of the Firm(s). 2. Experience in similar projects of compatible size, complexity and technical speciality in the required area 3.Finincial soundness of the firm and (4) Staffing and logistics of the firm.
Consultants are requested to submit the supporting documents in support of the above mentioned criteria. (a) Registration paper of the firm(s); (b) JV agreement/ letter of intent ( if applicable) (c) Firm brochure; (d) Audited financial report for last three years; (e) Service experience record (including nature, total cost, total input in terms on man months , employer, location of service etc). Key experts will not be evaluated at the short listing stage.

Detailed Information including TOR may be collected from the office of the Project Director, Widening &Strengthening of Important Upazila & Union road (DDIRWSP) under Dhaka Division. at any official day up to 25 September 2019; 5.00 PM (BST)
Expression of Interest (EOI) with supporting documents shall be submitted in sealed envelope delivered to the Project Director, Widening & Strengthening of Important Upazila & Union road under Dhaka Division and be clearly mark " Consultancy Services for detailed design and supervision " for Widening & Strengthening of Important Upazila & Union road under Dhaka Division. The EOl may be submitted by hand, by register post or courier service and the applicants shall be responsible for safe delivery in time. Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualification, but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub consultancy. In case of joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected. It is preferable to limit the maximum number of firms will be 03 (three) in an association including the lead firm.
The procuring entity reserves the right to accept or reject all the Expression of Interests (EOIs) without assigning any reason.
