| Brief Description of Assignment |

Bangladesh Bridge Authority, Bridges Division has decided to carry outFeasibility Study for Construction of Bridges over the river Meghna on Shariatpur-Chandpur Road &Gazaria-Munshiganj road and preparation of Master plan for Bangladesh Bridge Authority.For the purpose, Expression of Interest (EOI) is invited fromreputed consulting firms.The primary objectives of the Study are as follows:
i. Guide the future development of the transport network in the country;
ii. Identifying a time bound priority-based list of projects with estimated present and future cost, including assessment of potential source of funding.
iii. Pre-feasibility study of the high priority projects that must be undertaken by the next 10 years.
iv. Establish a sound policy framework to ensure the sustainability of the current and future investments of BBA in the transport sector.
v. Carryout Feasibility Study and Preliminary design of the potential bridge projects including environmental and social study and determine EIRR,NPV, BCR, and FIRR along with sensitivity analysis for different scenarios.
The proposal should content but not limited to the following information:
(i) Name and Background of the firm with general and overallexperience including company’s brochure.
(ii) In case of association (JV or Sub-consultancy) the name of the partner in charge and address must be mentioned in the document. A copy of registration certificate with relevant professional body (ies) with proof of latest/updated renewal.
(iii) List of relevant professional staff, mentioning their qualification and experience.
(iv) Summary of experience of the firm in similar type of works (completed during last 10 years and currently in progress) with duration and total cost of such projects and of consultancy services.
(v) Availability of resources and demonstration of capacity to carry out the assignment should be included in the EOI.
(vi) Company’s In-corporationCertificate, Trade License, VAT Registration Certificate, Income Tax Certificate, etc.
