| Brief Description of Assignment |

The consulting services the Services include to support Government of Bangladesh's Water Development Board (BWDB) in preparation of comprehensive coastal embankment improvement program and implementation of the following phases of Coastal Embankment Improvement Program (CEIP). The consultancy services will be carried out with a detailed feasibility study according to the international standards, which will form the basis for project appraisal by the World Bank and the Government of Bangladesh and will also cover the detailed design and bidding documents of a batch of works to be implemented under the CEIP-II project. | Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The evaluation criteria are:
a. Registration of the Firm (Years of registration of the Firm);
b. Experience of the Firm in: i) Feasibility Study including preparation of investment projects, ii) detailed design study of coastal infrastructure including hydraulic/ hydrological analysis/modeling as well as plan-form analysis and river bank erosion forecast, iii) independent safeguard assessment including preparation of different safeguard instruments for coastal infrastructure, iv) preparation of procurement documents and v) other services;
c. Availability of Professionals with Appropriate Skills (CV will not be evaluated at this stage);
d. Financial Capability: Annual Turnover
e. Managerial capability of the Firm |
