HDMC/2019-20/SR 05 (a) Data Operation and Processing Consultant (Mid-Level): Suitability
1. Should have knowledge in Visual Fox-Pro or Microsoft Access or SQL or equivalent database software;
2. Should have comprehensive knowledge in HDM-4 software calibration and running.
3. Knowledge in Project Analysis and Program Analysis of HDM-4.
4. Should have understanding of GIS related Geo Databases, Topology, Coordinate systems, Data conversion, and Data Management. 5. Should be able to use interactive GIS and link the information of the other database with GIS software;
HDMC/2019-20/SR 05 (b) Data Acquisition Consultant: Suitability:
1. Must be proficient in using MS Word and MS Excel and shall have experience to work with MS Access or equivalent database software; shall have knowledge on Global Positioning System (GPS) and its operation. Training in database software/GIS applications or relevant area will be preferred;
2. Shall have physical fitness to carry out intensive road survey work traveling remote areas throughout the country.
HDMC/2019-20/SR 05 (c) Junior Data Acquisition Consultant:(04 Nos)Suitability
1. Training in MS Office applications or relevant area;
2. Shall have physical fitness to carry out intensive road survey work traveling remote areas throughout the country.

HDMC/2019-20/SR 05 (a) Data Operation and Processing Consultant (Mid-Level): Minimum BSc Engineering in CSE/ Civil Engineering or equivalent from any recognized university. Membership of a recognized Professional Institution.
Professional Experience and Adequacy for the Assignment: 1. Minimum 10 (Ten) years’ experience in GIS and other Database Operation activities. 2. Experience in transport sector will get preference
HDMC/2019-20/SR 05 (b) Data Acquisition Consultant: (04 (Four): Educational Qualification
Minimum B. Sc Engineering (Civil) from any reputed University.
Professional Experience and Adequacy for the Assignment:
1. Minimum 5 (five) years of experience with reputed Civil Engineering Firms;
2. Experience in road condition assessment survey will get preference (number of such assignments need to be mentioned with brief description of scope of works and duration

Consultants will be selected using the Selection of Individual Consultant (SIC) Method in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2008. It is expected that the services will be commenced from June 2020 and shall be completed on November 2021 (18 Months).
Interested Consultants are required to submit their application in accordance with the Standard Application Form (PS4) which may be obtained from the office of the undersigned during normal office hours or from the notice board of RHD website (rhd.portal.gov.bd). The application shall be delivered in sealed envelope by 12:00 pm on 19 February 2020 to the Superintending Engineer (RHD), Room No-G/201, HDM Circle, Sarak Bhaban, Tejgaon, Dhaka-1208 and be clearly marked the name of the Consultant Category applied on the envelope.
Applicants who are already in employment shall have to send their application through proper channel, otherwise their applications will not be considered.
