Brief Description of Assignment |

SD-1: Strategic Environmental Assessment for ‘Payra-Kuakata’ Comprehensive Plan. The method adopted to develop the spatial decision-support tool consisted of three main stages:
• Identifying the main environmental concerns and indicators;
• Spatially resolving the main effects of the Plan;
• Assessing the effects using suitable environmental indicators.
Methodology for Linking SEA to Land Use Planning in the Integrated Approach:
• Specify the approach and practical arrangements
• Determine the context for the land use plan
• Evaluate the baseline trends in land use and environment
• Outline the future evolution of land use changes
• Assess the land potentials and environmental improvements
• Set the direction and purpose for the planning period
• Develop land use planning alternatives, and consult with relevant stakeholders
• Analyze & compare socio-economic and environmental effects of alternatives. Consult with stakeholders and select alternative.

Interested consulting Firms are hereby invited to submit EoI containing printed brochures (showing organizational identity and background), legal documents showing managerial and financial standing (according to PPA 2006 and PPR 2008), Staffing and inventory of resources and logistics confirming the firm’s capabilities to provide the required services. In case of JVCA, necessary legal documents must be provided with the EoI. The firm/ JVCA will submit 1 (One) original and another true copy of EOI.
