| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
A qualified civil engineer, with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from recognized University or Institutions and a post-graduate in Civil Engineering (Preferable Structural, transportation or Geotechnical Engineering) qualification is an advantage. At least 6 (Six)years of working experience and 3(three) years of Specific experience in planning, design, construction and maintenance of rural infrastructures projects in Bangladesh (like roads, bridges & culverts, markets & Ghats, different protective works against natural calamities due to climate change to ensure environmental sustainability) with knowledge management capability specially Climate Resilient issues.
S/he should have sound knowledge on-
-Material quality available for construction work in the Project area.
-Hydro morphological characteristics of the rivers and canals of the Project area.
-Climate change and its projected effects on the structures the design is prepared for.
-Current practice and availability of concrete in terms of strength.
- Age range; Maximum 45 years.
- Other job responsibilities as stated in ToR.
