| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Brief description of the assignment : The project "Further Development of Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (FDDP) (1st Revised)” is being implemented in DUET, Gazipur for the period of January 2016 to December 2020. Under this project, will be constructed a ICT incubator (12-storeyed foundation) will be constructed.
The scopes of consultancy services includes but not limited to are as follows:
(i) Conduct Sub-soil Investigation
(ii) Preparation of Master Plan showing the optimum position of the infrastructures to be implemented under FDDP
iii)Preparation of safe, sound and sustainable Architectural design drawings with necessary documents, 3D views, physical model if necessary
iv) Preparation of Foundation and Structural Design-drawing with necessary design reports.
v) Preparation of detail Plan, Architectural Drawing, Structural drawing, Electrical drawing, Sanitary-plumbing Fire detection and protection for the proposed works.
vi) Preparation of BoQ and Tender Documents
(vi) Preparation of construction work plan in detail.
(vii) Top supervision of proposed construction works
: Consultancy services include Design-drawing, Preparation of BoQ, Architectural, Structural, Sanitary-Plumbing, Electrical-fire fighting design with necessary documents:
i) ICT incubator 12-storied foundation at new campus. The area of each floor will be 2000 sqm.
ii) Conducting top supervision during implementation of the projects.
iii) Over head water tank- 0ne lac gallon capacity
iv) Sub-station building, Master drain, internal road and other infrastructures assigned by Engg office, DUET, Gazipur
vi) Scope of the works could be varied on the basis of requirement

Experience, Resource and Delivery capacity required : Interested Consulting firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the same. Brochures, description of similar assignment & experience certificate have to be submitted. The documents will also include: i) valid Trade License, VAT registration, up-to-date income tax clearance certificate, Bank solvency certificate, list of qualified personnel etc. to be submitted by the Consulting firm.
The EOI will be reviewed on the basis of the following:
i) Registration of firm, ii) Available of key professionals, iii) Qualifications and experience of the team leader and leader of individual discipline; iv) Availability of resources, v) Turnover of the consulting firm, vi) Experience of the firm in similar works with respective certificate from employer, vii) Experience of the firms(s) in other works, viii) Agreement of JV where necessary.

i) The Consulting firm must have a minimum 05 (five) years' experience in design and supervision;
ii) The minimum specific experience as a Consultant in design of multi storied building successfully completed within the last 3 (three) years, at least one Contract with a value of at least Tk. 80.00 Lakh.
iii) Preferences will be given if the firm has experience in university related buildings design. |
