INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
• The position will be located in the regional offices of LGED. The duty of consultant would be monitor and supervise the maintenance and rehabilitation of rural roads in order to ascertain whether the work progressed as per design, drawing and specification as well as assure quality of physical works by taking full responsibility;
• Review and comments on the estimate as well as necessary support to LGED Engineers for carrying-out road condition survey, planning, drawing, preparation of cost estimate, etc.;
• Assist LGED in contract administer and to prepare Variation Order (VOs) in light of contract agreement and recommend for approval, if required. Detailed mentioned in the ToR. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

• Must have overall working experience of 8 (Eight) years with at least 5 (Five) years working experience in the relevant field of assignment i.e. planning, monitoring and supervision of maintenance and rehabilitation works of rural roads & bridges, protective works, retaining wall, etc. for having degree of B.Sc in Civil Engineering or At least 15 years general working experience, out of which 8 years relevant experience for having degree of Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Should have also practical experience in road and bridge construction works, etc. |

It is expected that the service will be commenced on 20th March 2021 and shall be completed by 30th June 2021 [it may be extended till June 2022]. Interested candidates are requested to collect Terms of Reference (TOR) and standard forms (RFA) [complete set of “Request for Application”] which may be obtained from the office of the undersigned during normal office hours and submit their expression of interest.
