INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
• The position will be located in the regional offices of LGED. The duty of consultant would be carry-out road condition survey, drawings, BOQ, prepare cost estimate for maintenance and rehabilitation work of rural roads, bridges in consultation with LGED officials.
• Supervise road maintenance and rehabilitation works, all specified testing requirements of the contracts of various contractors’ bituminous and concreting work to ensure that the specified requirements for such standard are fully met;
• Assist LGED in contract administer and to prepare Variation Order (VOs) in light of contract agreement and recommend for approval, if required. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

• Must have overall working experience of 8 (Eight) years with at least 5 (Five) years working experience in the relevant field of assignment i.e. planning, monitoring and supervision of maintenance and rehabilitation works of rural roads & bridges, protective works, retaining wall, etc. for having degree of Diploma in Civil Engineering and financing/ accounting/ auditing system for having degree of B.Com/Fin./Accounting
• Should have also practical knowledge on computer skill (MS word, Excel, Power point, EVCS and RSEPS etc.).

It is expected that the service will be commenced on 20th March 2021 and shall be completed by 30th June 2021 [it may be extended till June 2022]. Interested candidates are requested to collect Terms of Reference (TOR) and standard forms (RFA) [complete set of “Request for Application”] which may be obtained from the office of the undersigned during normal office hours and submit their expression of interest.
