| Brief Description of Assignment |

The objective of the consulting services is to achieve the efficient and proper preparation and implementation of the Project through the following works:
i. Construction Supervision for Civil & Building Works, Electrical & Mechanical and Rolling Stock Packages;
ii. Interface management among Packages;
iii. Integration of system operation (system integration);
iv. Institutional Development Assistance;
v. Management and Operational Support;
vi. Facilitation of implementation of Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMoP) and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP);
vii. Technology Transfer including Training of DMTCL Staffs;
viii. Non-Rail Business Strategy Plan, Design and Development for Station Area;
ix. Security Assessment and Risk Mitigation;
x. Utility Relocation Assistance;
xi. Public Relations Activities;
xii. Review and make modification (if necessary) to the detailed design for the project already prepared under Engineering Services Project;
xiii. Design of works (if needed) that has not been designed previously; and
xiv. Tender Assistance if required. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The Lead firm must have following experiences (ongoing/completed projects) of rendering consulting services:
a) At least one experience of Construction Supervision for an underground urban railway project with the total project cost minimum 1 billion USD in South Asia or South East Asia for the past 10 years;
b) At least one experience of construction supervision for the JICA funded urban railway project with the total project cost minimum 1 billion USD with electrification design which is consistent with Dhaka MRT Line-6 during the past 10 years; and
c) At least one experience of construction supervision in any transportation projects in Bangladesh for the past 10 years. |
