| Brief Description of Assignment |

Shasthyo Surokhsha Karmasuchi (SSK) is the social health protection scheme developed and managed by the Health Economics Unit (HEU) of the MOHFW. This scheme is a model of social health Insurance / social health protection. Under the guidance of Line Director (LD), Health Economics and Financing (HEF) operational plan and DG HEU, the consultant will require to support HEU in executing the following activities related with SSK and Quality Improvement activities but not limited to: (i) To strengthen leadership capacity of heath service providers, develop strategy, guideline, tools and relevant documents, and disseminate among stakeholders at local and national level (ii) Provide training and guidance to heath service providers on best practices for community engagement (iii) Conduct and organize training, workshops and seminars (iv) Coordinate activities in close cooperation with the SSK Cell/HEU and (v) Any other relevant work as assigned by SSK Cell/HEU |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
i) At least a MBBS or post-graduation degree in Public Health, Economics, Health Economics, Development Studies, Public Management or any other relevant field. ii) Having minimum 10 years working experience in the field of community liaison and community engagement. iii) Having at least 10 years field experience of working at public or private hospitals with reputed tract record of leadership and community engagement. iv) Familiarity with current government health policies and priorities. v) Having excellent training and motivational skill.
vi) Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali. vii) Good understanding of the functions and responsibilities of the post, ability to work independently with minimum supervision. viii) Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a Team. ix) Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. x) Excellent organizational and management skills and ability to carry out work in an efficient and timely manner. |
