| Brief Description of Assignment |

Study on Community Space and Recreational Facilities at Upazila Level that includes following studies (1-3) covering following assignments (a-d). Study 1: Developing utilization and management framework for playground and community spaces in donated land/buildings at the villages of the country. Study 2: developing an number of models for the school playgrounds with different outdoor games. Study 3: Developing a planning guideline for setting up of public library/youth recreation center & sports complex/mini stadiums etc. at Upazila level. Assignment in brief:- a) Preparation of guideline for development, operation and maintenance of community spaces and recreational facilities at donated land/houses with four case studies. Preparation of agreement indicating contracting arrangement for resource sharing and government investment in selected properties. b) developing a number of prototype architectural and structural and structural design of school playgrounds utilizing sustainable materials. (At least five real case studies involving different field sizes). c) Developing a planning guideline for setting up of public library/youth recreation center & sports complex/mini stadiums etc. at Upazila level. Conduct five case studies and prepare reports at different Upazilas. d) Stakeholder meetings: Conduct stakeholder meeting for design of community spaces and recreational facilities as required. |
