a. Educational Qualification:
Master’s degree in Water Supply Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/Master’s degree in relevant field with Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering..
b. Experience :
At least ten (10) years experience in planning; designing and implementing large-scale water supply projects, of which at least seven (7) years’ experience in piped water supply sector in Bangladesh i.e. in urban/rural water supply project.
Strong and relevant experience in the sector; capable of interpreting hydrogeological assessments; performing hydraulic analysis and design of pipe networks (transmission and distribution) using computer-aided software (Water GEMS/EPANET etc.). Working experiences in the projects of World Bank, ADB or other development partners

The Applicants are invited to provide information in details indicating their qualification to perform the services (complete CV along with description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, general qualifications and financial proposal).
The Consultant will be hired and contracted as per the “Selection of Individual Consultants (SIC)” Selection method of World Bank Procurement Regulations (PR), July, 2016 (Revised November 2017 and August 2018). Duration of the consultancy services will be 60 months or project closing date or credit/loan closing date, whichever is earlier. Interested Applicants may obtain the detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) upon request from the address provided below either by e-mail or in person during the office hours (09-00 AM to 05-00 PM BST). The TOR is also available at the DPHE website (http:www.dphe.gov.bd).
Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail, or by e-mail) by 15 July, 2021 within 3:00 PM and clearly marked “Expression of Interest”, contract package number, name of the position applied for and name and address of the individual. In addition to that softcopy of REOI will require to be submitted in CD/DVD or flash drive or through email.
