INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
a) Lead effort to review product specifications and work with others to develop appropriate test strategies and detailed test plans and test architectures;
b) Lead formal reviews of test plans, designs and requirements documents with cross-functional teams;
c) Develop training manuals for the data collectors including field testing: The consultant will develop training manuals and conduct trainings for the census team to ensure full understanding of the data entry platform. The training will include actual field experiments (field testing);
d) Design test cases & develop test data;
e) Identify product issues and write detailed bug reports during the product development cycle;
f) Communicate and coordinate with peers and senior level individuals in cross-functional groups to articulate and compare alternative testing approaches;
g) Provide technical support and supervision of field work, especially at the initial stages of the field work. The consultant will take corrective measures if needed to ensure reliability of the system;

Education: The person should have minimum 04 (Four) Years or Master’s degree in IT/CS/CSE/CST/EEE/ECE etc. from any reputed Universities. In case of proven experience with CAPI, education requirement can be relaxed. Advanced academic/professional qualifications in relevant field from recognized institutes will be added Preference;
Experience: 1) Certified test engineer, with programming skills will be added Preference;
2) Professional experience in implementation of CAPI technologies in Statistical Organizations is an added plus;
3) Knowledge of CAPI Software (i.e. Survey Solution, Survey Monkey, CSPro) and proficiency in programming as well as proficiency in deploying the Survey Solutions platform will be a great advantage;
4) Strong communication skills in Bangla and English.
5) Conduct System Testing (Functional/Non-Functional), Performance testing, Retest & Regression Testing etc
6) Have sound knowledge in automated test tools like Selenium, Postman, jMeter etc. |
