| Brief Description of Assignment |

UDD is undertaking a project entitled “A Pilot Project on Preparation of Comprehensive Development Plan for Nine Upazilas (9UpzCP)” with an area of approximately 2248 sq km. UDD has decided to engaging Bangladeshi Survey and consulting Firm out of GoB finance under 5 (Five) packages (as mentioned in clause 20) for making A Pilot Project on Preparation of Comprehensive Development Plan for Nine Upazilas including Hajiganj & Shahrasti Upazila, District- Chandpur, Bakshiganj & Dewanganj Upazila, District- Jamalpur, Jagannathpur & Daskhain Sunamganj Upazila, District- Sunamganj, Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila, District- Lalmonirhat, and Mohammadpur & Shalikha Upazila, District- Magura.
The firm shall conduct all related physical feature, topographic and land use survey. The firm shall also assist UDD Planning Team in preparation of plan by using modern survey equipments including RTK GPS, Total Station, Levelling Machine, UVA, Photogrammetric Workstation, Online Survey and communication device (tablet), ArcGIS, ArcGIS compatible Photogrammetric Software etc.
Deliverable: GIS compatible database format and report as required by PD. |

Resources: Office Space, Financial and Managerial Strength, Computer, Survey Equipment, Large Format Plotter, Arc GIS compatible Photogrammetric Workstation, Arc GIS Software, Vehicle and other logistics etc. for 05 (Five) packages.
Survey and Planning Work: (i) During survey period: conduct physical feature, topographic and land use survey, related database management and report as well.
(ii) During planning period: Assist UDD Planning Team in preparation of plan.
Experience of Firm: The firm should have experience in conducting physical feature, topographic, land use and other related surveys.
Delivery Capacity: The survey firm should have the capacity to supervise and monitor day-to-day survey work and online communicating capacity with the project team as well.
Work Experience: Minimum 5 (Five) years of working experience in conducting physical feature, land use and topographic surveys (both in urban and rural areas) and at least 1 (One) complete upazila level as well. At the same time, the survey firm/ association (JVCA) firms should have completed survey and database management work experience especially of a urban and rural planning project. |

Interested Survey Firms are hereby invited to submit EoI containing printed brochures (showing organizational identity and background), Legal Documents, Bank Solvency showing managerial and financial standing (according to PPA 2006 and PPR 2008), Legal Trade License, VAT Registration Certificate, Valid TIN Certificate, Memorandum of Article (If applicable), Nationality Certificate of Authorized person, NID card of authorized person, staffing and inventory of resources and logistics confirming the firm’s capabilities to provide the required services. In case of JVCA, necessary legal documents must be provided with the EoI as per PPA 2006 and PPR 2008. Photocopies of all documents should be attested by a first Class Gazetted Officer and submitted with EOI. The consulting firm alone or joint venture or association (as per PPA 2006 and PPR 2008) can apply for more than one Package as mentioned in clause 19 but their technical resources [manpower, equipment and logistics {as per clause 16}] should be different for different packages. Survey firm will submit one (1) original and one (1) true copy of the EoI for each package separately in sealed envelopes marked with the “Title” and “Specific Package Name” with an electronic copy. |
