UDD is undertaking a project entitled “A Pilot Project on Preparation of Comprehensive Development Plan for Nine Upazilas (9UpzCP)” an area of approximately 2248 sq km. UDD has decided to engaging Bangladeshi Survey Firm out of GoB finance under 4 (four) packages (as mentioned in clause 19) for making A Pilot Project on Preparation of Comprehensive Development Plan for Nine Upazilas. Hajiganj & Shahrasti Upazila, District- Chadpur, Bakshiganj & Dewanganj Upazila, District- Jamalpur, Jagannathpur & Daskhain Sunamganj Upazila, District- Sunamganj, Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila, District- Lalmonirhat, Mohammadpur & Shalikha Upazila, District- Magura. Geomorphological map,
Sub-surface lithological 3D model, Soil classification map, Engineering geological map, Seismic hazard map earthquake resilient zones, Landslide vulnerable zones Liquefaction susceptibility map Based on vulnerability of building and seismic hazard data a risk map to be prepared, Trip generation, Trip distribution and Travel Behavior by Household Survey, Traffic Volume and Origin and Destination (O-D) Survey & Others etc with suitable transportation Model & etc, To identify the aquifer level of the region including its seasonal variation, drawing fresh ground water, a seasonal fluctuation model of regional ground water table. 3D model & etc, Existing flora and fauna based on available information, data gathering, literature searches, an inventory of the species, au ecological characteristics

Package-9: Related Professionals: During Survey Work: Package- 6: Geologist, Civil Engineer, Associate Geologist, Geological Survey Technician, as relevant to respective Packages.
Package-7: Transport Planning Expert, Transport Survey Expert, Transport Survey Supervisor as relevant to respective Packages.
Package-8 Hydrologist, Associate Hydro-Geologist as relevant to respective Packages
Package-9- Flora and Fauna Expert, GIS Expert, Associate Flora and Fauna Expert as relevant to respective Packages.Resources: Office Space, Financial and Managerial Strength, Computer, Vehicle and other logistics for all packages. During Planning Work: Survey firm would assist the both UDD Project Team & Physical Feature Survey Firm till finalization of the plan. The firm should have experience in conducting Subsurface Geological surveys, and comprehensive planning of at least two upazilas comprising of both urban and rural areas covering all unions within the upazila. The firm should have experience in conducting Traffic and Transport surveys, and comprehensive planning of at least two upazilas comprising of both urban and rural areas covering all unions within the upazila, The firm should have experience in conducting Hydrological
surveys, and comprehensive planning of at least two upazilas comprising of both urban and rural areas covering all unions within the upazila, The firm should have experience in conducting Baseline survey of Existing Flora and Fauna, and comprehensive planning of at least two upazilas comprising of both urban and rural areas covering all unions within the upazila |

Interested Survey Firms are hereby invited to submit EoI containing printed brochures (showing organizational identity and background), Legal Documents, Bank Solvency showing managerial and financial standing (according to PPA 2006 and PPR 2008), Legal Trade License, VAT Registration Certificate, Valid TIN Certificate, Memorandum of Article (If applicable), Nationality Certificate of Authorized person, NID card of authorized person, staffing and inventory of resources and logistics confirming the firm’s capabilities to provide the required services. In case of JVCA, necessary legal documents must be provided with the EoI as per PPA 2006 and PPR 2008. Photocopies of all documents should be attested by First Class Gazetted Officer and submitted with EOI. The consulting firm alone or joint venture or association (as per PPA 2006 and PPR 2008) can apply for more than one Package as mentioned in clause 19 but their technical resources [manpower, equipment and logistics {as per clause 16}] should be different for different packages. Survey firm will submit one (1) original and one (1) true copy of the EoI for each package separately in sealed envelopes marked with the “Title” and “Specific Package Name” with an electronic copy. |
