| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Pest Risk Analysis provides the rationale for phytosanitary measures for a specified PRA area. It evaluates scientific evidence to determine whether an organism is a pest. If so, the analysis evaluates the probability of introduction and spread of the pest and the magnitude of potential economic consequences in a defined area, using biological or other scientific and economic evidence as mentioned in Terms of Reference (ToR). It is a Pest PRA, so all possible pathways for the pest are needed to be considered. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

1) The consulting firm should have minimum 05 (Five) years professional experience in the field of conducting consulting services and experience in conducting at least two (2) Pest Risk Analysis (PRA) of the Crops;
2) The consulting firm should have at least one specialists of Entomologist, Pathologist, Agronomist (Crop science) and Economist. Specialists in Statistics, Ecology Epidemiology & Botany will be given preference;
3) The firm should have experience in management of similar nature of works. Preference will be given to Firm which has PRA experience on Tuber Crops; |

Interested PRA consulting firm are invited to provide update information including that they are qualified to perform that the Services which are (a) Brochures, (b) description of similar assignments, (c) experience in similar operating condition, (d) available of appropriate professional qualification and experience among applicant staff to carry out the assignments, (e) administrative strength and financial capacity etc and also noted in ToR. One original & 5 duplicate hard copies of "Expression of Interest (EOI)" must be submitted by the applicant on or before 22/11/2022; 12:30 pm in a sealed envelope delivered to Project Office to above mentioned address and be clearly marked Expression of Interest (EOI) for the position (The details of TOR is available at www.dae.gov.bd, CPTU website and Project Office). |
