| Brief Description of Assignment |

The scope includes assisting and providing technical support to Road Design and Safety Circle in carrying out geometric and pavement design of highways. The major services to be Provided by the Consultant will include but not limited to the followings.
Design of different types of pavement using RHD guide line and other latest design approaches, preparation of design report, generation drawing of pavement sections, survey, testing and data collection for pavement design, generation of various Pavement Design Template, review of designs, providing geometry suggestions and correcting the design if needed.
Review and develop mechanism for assessing geometric design of highways including intersections with traffic simulation, arrange field visits to carry out survey to collect and analyze data required for geometric design, prepare design report and drawings.
Provide support in preparing comments and observations for vetting of design reports and related technical reports and any other design related service for client. |

Interested Consultancy firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services which includes firm’s registration certificates and related legal document, brochures (Company profile with management performance and personnel etc.), description of similar assignments, experience in rendering similar service in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, supporting documents showing financial capacity, History of Litigation (if any) etc.
• Firm may constitute Joint Venture to enhance their strength of qualification. |

Submission of EOI should be done in closed format bearing the Name and Address of Firm(s), EOI Name. & Date and be addressed to the EOI issuing authority in 02 (two) copies; 01 (one) marked as “ORIGINAL” and other as “COPY” in separate envelopes in the form of book binding. Both the “ORIGINAL’ and “COPY” shall have to be covered within a single envelope. The applicant shall have to mention the page number serially on every page of submitted EOI document. |
