| Brief Description of Assignment |

The broad scope of consulting services ("the Services") includes carrying out the tasks mentioned below:
(a) prepare detailed engineering designs, safeguard documents and procurement documents of the defined roads/sub-projects for readiness of the projects’ investment and implementation;
(b) prepare climate resilient road/bridge designs, particularly the southern region road/bridge designs shall have resistance to costal disaster;
(c) prepare detailed designs considering multimodal transport facility enhancement and
(d) prepare detailed designs for road safety enhancement. |

The interested consulting firms should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The key qualifications and experiences of the Consulting firms required are as follows:
i. Technical Competence: general experience, specific experience in similar assignments (detailed design of road/bridge in similar road/highway projects with comparable scale and technical specifications);
ii. Geographic Experience: experience in similar geographic area;
iii. Experience in working with Multilateral Development Banks - MDBs (i.e. ADB, WB etc.). |
