| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The Resettlement Plan Implementing NGO (RP-INGO)‘s main tasks are to update, finalize and implement all RPs under Project 2. Furthermore, the RP-INGO will support APs in pursuing grievances and support the PMO and DC office in determination and disbursement of compensation and resettlement grants. The RP-INGO will work very closely on a daily basis with (i) BWDB PMO and SMO staff, department/line agencies, local government units, and local field offices responsible for the impacted area; (ii) grievance redress mechanism (GRM) team; and (iii) APs.

Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) under the Ministry of Water Resources now invites eligible NGOs to indicate their interests in providing the above-mentioned services. Interested NGOs must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (such as: brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). The financial capability should be shown as yearly Financial Turn Over supported by audited financial reports for last five years. The NGO/Consortium of NGOs should have relevant professional experiences. The form of association, if any, should be clearly indicated either "joint venture" or "sub-consultancy"; and all members should have well defined inputs to the assignment. In the case of joint-venture, all NGOs shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire NGO's obligations under the contract. In case of sub-consultancy, the main NGO shall sign the contract and shall be liable for the entire NGO's obligations under the contract. The total number of NGOs including their associates shall not exceed three (3).
The Expressions of Interest (EOI) would be assessed on the basis of the following aspects to prepare a short list:
1. Registration of NGO
2. Availability of Professionals with Appropriate Skills
3. Financial Resources
4. Availability of other Resources
5. Experience of NGO in Similar Services
6. Experience of NGO in Other Services |

Interested NGOs are advised to submit EOI on online through ADB’s Consulting Services Recruitment Notice (CSRN). No off-line submission of EOI is acceptable. The deadline of the submission is 20.12.2022 upto 11:59pm Manila local time. |
