| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The consultancy services include (but not limited to) the following Major tasks (given additions and adjustments are made where necessary):
a) Feasibility Study
b) Preliminary Drawing and Design
c) Details Drawing and Design along with DPP preparation
• Preparation of Feasibility Report after examination of the suitability of Bus Terminal for various services for Intra city / inter districts others considering the technical, financial, legal, regulatory, social and environmental aspects and based on primary traffic surveys.
• Examination of the present situation with respect to demand and supply and future projection.
• Carry out financial analysis, economic analysis.
• Carry out social and environmental assessment
• Preparing the conceptual design drawings/3D maps, animation, and preliminary cost estimate.
• Preparing traffic circulation plan, Exit, entry of vehicles, bus bays, layover time.
• Detail Design of Bus Terminals and their components like drainage infrastructures, building infrastructures, plumbing, ticket counter, Electrical Drawings, Lighting etc.
• ICT equipment &systems like automatic fee collection, central control monitoring etc.
• Cost estimate.
• A well formulated DPP along with a feasibility study report as per planning commission prescribed format.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The consulting firm shall have a general experience of at least 10 (Ten) years and practical experience with proven assignment record in similar type in any Bangladesh or abroad. Similar assignments refer to the planning and designing of well functioned Terminal and depots. The EoI shall be evaluated on the basis of the following documents
1. Registration of firm.
2. Age of the firm (years in relevant business).
3. Availability of the key professionals for conducting similar type of assignments.
4. Financial resources of the consulting firm (Turnover of last five years) supported by audit report for the last 3 (three) years.
5. Experience of the firm in similar task/assignments (example of past experience of similar nature and for complexity including cost and duration of the assignment).
6. Experience of the firm in other works (example of past experience of similar nature and for complexity including cost and duration of the assignment).
7. Support services of the firm (office space, supporting staff, and equipment).
8. Financial statement supported by audit report for the last 3 (three) years.

a) Interested firm shall submit expression of interest (EOI) to the DNCC within the given time frame. The EoI’s will be evaluated according to the provisions of the PPR-2008 Guidelines.
b) In a case where more that one firm forming a consortium to enhance their qualifications, the lead firm should submit the EOI. They should outline the rationale for the proposed consortium, and described how the work will be coordinated; managed and quality control assured. They should have proven track records of management and financial solvency.
