| Brief Description of Assignment |

The Government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh (GoB) will provide fund for Maintenance and Operation of RHD IT Infrastructure by engaging consulting firm (National) for 24 (twenty four) months.
The Roads and Highways Department (RHD) under the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Client’) now invites Expression of Interest (EoI) from reputed consulting firm or firms in Joint Venture/Association for short listing of the consulting services for Maintenance and Operation of RHD IT Infrastructure.
The services Include: RHD has a Tenderers Database Management System (TDMS) and the Service includes updates, modification, support and maintenance of existing TDMS and Providing maintenance and operation of server, switch, router, battery & power system, data/ document backup and storage, network and cabling, scanner, printer etc. including file server, internet server, domain server, mail server, document archive server etc of MIS Server Room. The consultant has to ensure that the entire IT infrastructure of RHD keeps always running.

The interested firms/ Joint Venture firms must meet the following minimum criteria for short listing:
1. Brochures submitted by the Applicants summarizing their facilities and areas of expertise;
2. Descriptions of similar assignments;
3. Experience in similar operating environments and conditions;
4. Availability of appropriate experience and professional qualifications among Applicant’s staff and adequate resources to carry out the assignment; and
5. Managerial strength and financial capacity
The firms/ Joint Venture firms meeting the above criteria are requested to submit EOI along with company registration, Up-to-date trade license, tax clearance paper, last three years’ audit reports, bank solvency certificate, credit facility, and company certification. Interested firms are also requested to include a write-up about the proposed e-service and its technology architecture with their EOI.

Interested firms may obtain further information from the Management Information Cell of RHD between 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM prior to the closing of EOI.
EOI with supporting documents shall be submitted in a sealed envelope (2 copies) clearly marked “Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Selection of Maintenance and Operation of RHD IT Infrastructure” and delivered to the address mentioned herewith.
The EOI may be submitted by hand-registered post or courier service and the firm shall be responsible for safe delivery on time. The Procuring Entity shall not be responsible for expenses incurred by the firms in connection with the preparation or delivery of the EOI
