INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The consulting services include but not limited to: (a) Review and analyze all relevant project documents including all topographical survey report, sub-soil investigation report and traffic survey report, bathymetric survey report and utility service data etc. Considering these he/she has to prepare detail structural design, drawings and specifications of bridges, protection works etc. and submit to the Project Director and suggest modifications and changes as necessary during implementation; (b) Conduct structural design of some bridges as well as the protective works with direct guidance of design unit, LGED & the Project Director, LGED, but not limited to any specific project; (c) Ensure proper implementation of design through top supervision. |

Educational Qualifications:
• BSc in Civil Engineering from any recognized university/institution;
• A Master Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent will be preferred;
Experience:
• 15 (Fifteen) years of general experience with 10 (Ten) years in bridge design;
• Proficient in structural design software and computer-aided design tools;
• Software skills such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, AutoCAD, MS Office etc.
