Bidders shall meet the following minimum requirements along with other requirements as mentioned in the bidding documents:
(a) Contracts of Similar Size and Nature
All Bidders must have experience as Contractor for at least two (2) transmission line completed contracts, as a prime contractor (single entity or JV member), twenty (20) years immediately preceding the Bid Closing Date,
For the above two contracts executed during the period mentioned above:
At least one of the above-mentioned two contracts shall have the scope of design, supply, foundation, erection, stringing, testing & commissioning of single and/or double circuit 220kV or above voltage overhead transmission lines construction including river or sea crossing span of at least 700 meters where at least two tower foundation located within the water body.
(b) Key Activities
At least one (01) contract shall be of river or sea structure/bridge construction having at least two foundations with steel tube pile constructed over water in the river/sea bed having minimum pile length of 80 meter and minimum diameter of 3 meter. |

The scope of Works are as follows:
400 kV Double Circuit Overhead Transmission Line Crossing over Padma River.
The river crossing towers and anchor towers shall be designed for Quad Bundle ACCC ULS 724/71 Dhaka Conductor per phase with one 19/3.67 mm 20SA earthwire and one equivalent OPGW.
The Total length of the overhead transmission line crossing Padma River is approximately 11.50 km using Quad Bundle ACCC ULS 724/71 Dhaka Conductor per phase with one 19/3.67 mm 20SA earthwire and one equivalent OPGW. |
