REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST for
RENTAL SERVICES FOR UP TO 300 MW POWER PLANT AND OPERATION & AINTENANCE SERVICES
The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has decided to procure rental services for gas based power plants with capacity of up to 300 MW and operation and maintenance services on a fast track basis at different locations for about 3 (three) years. These services will be required by February 2008.
Having been authorized by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Power Cell, Power Division, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, now invites eligible service providers to indicate their interest in providing the above-mentioned rental and operation and maintenance services to Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB).
Interested service providers should provide information indicating that they are able to perform the services, by submitting to Power Cell, the evidence of international experience of similar type of services, and an indication that the service provider has barge/skid/trailer mounted power plant in ready stock mentioning the current location of the indicated plant. Based on this information, Power Cell will prepare a list of the potential service providers who will be invited to submit proposals in response to detailed terms of services.
The deadline for submission of Expression of Interest shall be July 26, 2007 to the office of the Power Cell mentioned below. The submission shall be by hand delivery or by a courier.
